As the band continued through the summer 2002 detour tour, the band's
soap opera escapades heightened and Mario and/or Yoko, the Butt of most
of our weekly e-mail jokes, finally called it quits and left the band
hanging just weeks before the Hobart Jaycee Fest gig and opener for
Nazerath. It wasn't that the band was totally disappointed, but we did
feel some sort let down due to the fact that we needed find somebody to
fill in and learn enough songs FAST or start canceling gigs. As fate
would decide, Greg shows up to one of our acoustic gigs to try out for
the band and the decision is easy, When can you start?
The details of
how Greg's availability was made known to us are another story that
would require several Captain Morgan & cokes and a certain affable lead
guitar player. After a couple of months of gigging with the band, we've
learned of Greg's strong vocals, both lead and harmonies, driving and
melodic bass lines, and his penchant for Yager shots! Greg has formerly
worked with Dr. Groovenstein, Electric X, and various gospel bands and
recording artists.
